In 2007 My Gift Registry opened it's "doors", leading the way forward for online, e-commerce based Wedding Gift Registries. Since then many other companies have also come online but we are proud to say we have remained Gauteng's leading online gift registry service!

It is unfortunate therefore that, due to various time constraints on the founders of this innovative company, My Gift Registry will be ceasing operations as at the end of April 2010. This has been communicated to all registry holders and all orders will be honoured. Warranty and guarentee issues will be dealt with in the future by the members of the CC - My Gift Registry CC.

The My Gift Registry legacy will, for now, be shelved. We have accomplished a great deal over our three years of operations and have been able to not accrue any debt or creditors (save the initial start-up capital provided by the members) and as such are able to retain the business and supplier database for re-launch at another stage. Although no plans are currently in place for this, it will always remain an option.
