• A My Gift
Registry consultant can meet with you and
help you to choose items for your registry
should you wish to take advantage of this
service.
• You may
choose to receive monthly e-mail updates on
new products as well as articles on planning
your wedding.
• We offer you
a wealth of information in our “Wedding
Guide”. This includes a list of different
wedding service providers and numerous
informative articles.
• You can add
or remove items from your registry at any
time.
• Your registry
is available for your kitchen tea/pamper
party.
• My Gift
Registry will print inserts for your
invitations inviting guests to view your
registry at My Gift Registry.
• All of your
gifts will be wrapped to match the colour of
your wedding (should you choose to have your
gifts delivered to your wedding reception).
• Your guests
will have the opportunity to add their
personal message to your gift card.
• You gifts
will be delivered anywhere you wish within
the region of Gauteng.
• We provide
you with a list of each gift and the names
of the guests who gave them to you to aid
with “Thank You” notes.
• Both you and
your guests will be able to access and
purchase items from your wedding registry
for up to two months after the date of your
wedding. We will deliver these items to your
new home.

What we offer gift buyers
My Gift Registry offers all shoppers complete ease and
convenience in buying gifts for a couple’s wedding. We
remove the hassle of shopping centres, which means no
more walking for hours, parking lot traffic jams and no
more crowds! Because our store is online you will be
able to purchase your gift whenever it suits you – at
any time of the day or night and in the comfort of your
own home or office. You will no longer have to agonize
over selecting a gift that the couple will like because
they have already chosen items to complement their
taste. Another great thing about the My Gift Registry
experience is that there is no chance of a gift being
duplicated – there’s nothing worse than buying from a
registry at a chainstore and finding that someone else
has bought the same gift. The couple’s registry is
linked into the My Gift Registry database and any items
purchased are marked as such straight away. This
user-friendly system ensures that every gift is not only
unique, but is also the perfect gift.
The following are some of the different services that we
offer you to make the process of buying wedding gifts
easy and enjoyable:
• A categorized
list of everything the couple has chosen, so
you can go straight to the category you
would like to purchase your gift from.
• A search
feature which allows you to search for
specific items in order to speed up your
shopping experience.
• In order to
assist you in your decision process, you
will be able to see which items the couple
has selected as priority items.
• Each gift
will be wrapped to match the colour scheme
of the couple’s wedding reception. My Gift
Registry will never wrap every present
identically as many physical stores are
forced to do.
• Each gift
will include a printed card with a
personalised message from you (You can
create this message in the checkout
section).
• My Gift
Registry offers you a choice of three
different payment methods: Credit/Debit
Card, Electronic Transfer or Direct Deposit.
• Gifts will be
delivered to the couple’s chosen destination
(usually their wedding) at a time as
arranged with the couple. My Gift Registry
will not deliver items to anyone except to
the couple who created the registry.
• My Gift
Registry will update you on the progress
with your gift as it moves through our
system. This is to ensure that nothing ever
slips through the cracks!
• Our website offers a service whereby
several shoppers can contribute toward the
same gift. This will enable you to give the
couple a larger gift that you might not have
been able to afford on your own.
• Should you
want to add a little extra to your gift or
not be able to find anything you are
particularly fond of, you may always give a
voucher of any value to the couple. They can
redeem this voucher for anything on our site
for up to two months after their wedding
date, giving them the amazing gift of
choice.
• My Gift
Registry will be available via telephone
during office hours to assist you in any
way. Should you be uncomfortable with the
system, we will happily talk you through it,
or even place your order for you from our
side.
